Gabriel Cunningham is a tight end from Wentzville, Missouri, who attended Holt High School. At Holt, he was a three-year starter under coach John Place, playing both tight end and defensive end. He earned two first-team all-conference selections and garnered all-metro, all-district, and all-state honors as a junior. Over his high school career, Cunningham recorded 76 receptions for 1,230 yards and 21 touchdowns, including 23 catches for 448 yards and five touchdowns his senior year. He also competed in basketball and track. Cunningham redshirted during the 2025 season with North Dakota State, appearing in one game against Northern Iowa.
