Blake Schiltz is a defensive end for North Dakota State, standing 6'2" and weighing 250 pounds. A native of Pine Island, Minnesota, Schiltz was a three-year starter and three-time captain at Pine Island HS under coach Mitch Schiltz. He earned two-time defensive MVP and all-conference honors while recording 79 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles as a senior. Schiltz also garnered academic all-state recognition in football and competed in basketball and track and field. He is currently majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology and is on the North Dakota State roster as a true freshman.
