Shamar Easter is a 6'5" tight end from Ashdown, Arkansas, who arrived at North Carolina as a transfer from Arkansas. A consensus four-star recruit in the 2023 class, Easter redshirted his freshman year at Arkansas before appearing in one game during his redshirt freshman season in 2024, recording a 16-yard reception. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore year at Carolina, he appeared in seven games with starts against Stanford and Wake Forest, catching two passes for 17 yards including a 15-yard reception at NC State.
