Nicco Maggio is a defensive tackle for North Carolina from Buford, Georgia. He played three varsity seasons at Buford High School, where he compiled 58 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks over his career. As a senior, he posted 40 total tackles including 20 solo, 4.0 sacks, and 10.0 tackles for loss. Maggio was a three-star recruit in the 2025 class and currently holds the status of returning player for the Tar Heels.
