Nick Romero is a placekicker from Pembroke Pines, Florida, who played at St. Thomas Aquinas High School before transferring to New Mexico. At Wagner in 2025, his freshman season, Romero made 13 of 14 field goals and 18 of 20 extra points for 57 points and earned Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-America honors. He posted a .929 field goal percentage, second nationally in the FCS, with a long of 44 yards. Romero was named First Team All-NEC and recorded nine consecutive made field goals to finish the season. He majors in business administration.
