Malik Aliane, a 6'2", 320-pound left guard from Rouen, France, played for LR Leopards de Rouen before earning a scholarship to New Mexico Military Institute. He redshirted in 2022 and appeared in seven games during his redshirt freshman season in 2023, when the team averaged nearly 400 yards and 30.2 points per game. In 2024, Aliane played all 12 games with two starts at center, recording an 82.2 pass blocking grade from analytics services against Hawai'i. During his 2025 redshirt junior season, he started all 12 games—10 at left tackle and two at left guard—playing 720 snaps, third most among team linemen. He earned Mountain West All-Academic honors in 2024 and Scholar-Athlete recognition for 2024-25.
