Trey Hedden is a quarterback for New Mexico State standing 6'3" and weighing 225 pounds. A junior from Tampa, Florida, he graduated from Tampa Catholic High School in December 2023, where he completed 120-of-197 passes for 2,500 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior while also rushing for seven scores. Hedden played two seasons at Furman before transferring. As a freshman in 2024, he appeared in 10 games with eight starts, completing 151-of-248 passes for 1,767 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2025 as a sophomore, he started all 12 games, amassing 2,967 passing yards with 17 passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown while posting a 68.3% completion percentage.
