Sioeli Helu is a graduate student offensive lineman for New Mexico State from San Mateo, California, where he attended Junipero Serra High School. At Junipero Serra, he recorded 35 total tackles with 4.0 sacks, earned first-team all-league honors, and helped the Padres win the 2019 Northern California championship. Helu joined the Aggies as a freshman in 2021, appearing in the season opener against UTEP before earning a redshirt.
