Obinna Okeke is a 6'3", 246-pound defensive end from Houston, Texas who transferred to New Mexico State for the 2025 season. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he spent two seasons at Louisiana Tech before appearing in eight games there in 2024, serving as the only defensive lineman on the kickoff coverage unit. In his first year with the Aggies, Okeke played in all 12 games and registered 16 total tackles, including three solo tackles and a half tackle for loss, while also recording four quarterback hurries. He returns as a redshirt junior for 2026.
