Brody Richter is a punter from Scottsdale, Arizona, who attended Veritas Preparatory Academy in Phoenix. He began his college career at Arizona State in 2022 without playing. Richter then transferred to Northern Arizona as a redshirt freshman in 2023, making five starts and punting 24 times for 1,039 yards at 43.3 yards per punt, with eight punts inside the 20-yard line and a long of 56 yards. He moved to UCLA in 2024 as a redshirt sophomore, serving as the primary punter and starting 11 of 12 games. Over 40 punts that season, he accumulated 1,712 yards at 42.8 yards per punt, placed 17 inside the 20, and recorded a 61-yard punt at LSU. Richter is now a redshirt senior at New Mexico State.
