Roman Mangini, a 5'10" wide receiver from Mesa, Arizona, joined Nebraska after playing safety and receiver at Desert Ridge High School. During his prep career, he recorded 110 tackles, three interceptions, and 19 passes defended over two seasons, including 68 tackles as a senior in 2021. Mangini redshirted in 2022 before appearing in two games in 2023. He played in four games in 2024, recording his first career reception for 11 yards against UTEP. In 2025, Mangini appeared in 10 games as a special teams contributor and wide receiver. A marketing major, he has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors three times and serves on multiple Nebraska citizenship teams.
