Keelan Smith is a 6'3" wide receiver from Kansas City, Missouri, who attended Liberty North High School. As a senior, he caught 74 passes for 1,268 yards and 17 touchdowns while helping the Crusaders to a 13-1 record and state championship. Smith earned first-team all-state and all-conference honors. He redshirted in 2024 after appearing in one game against UTEP, recording one reception for four yards. In 2025 as a redshirt freshman, Smith played in nine games and caught two passes for 18 yards, including a 15-yard reception against Akron. He was named Academic All-Big Ten and to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
