Owen Chambliss is a 6'3" linebacker from Corona, California, who attended Centennial High School before beginning his college career at Utah in 2023. He played in four games that season while redshirting, then transferred to San Diego State for 2024-25. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, Chambliss started seven games and recorded 31 tackles with one pass breakup before missing five games due to injury. In 2025, he started all 13 games for the Aztecs, leading the team with 110 tackles and posting 9.5 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks, earning first-team All-Mountain West honors as the only underclassman on the first-team defense. Chambliss transferred to Nebraska for the 2026 season.
