Kyle Cunanan is a place-kicker for the Nebraska Cornhuskers who transferred in from California. The Phoenix native previously played two seasons at Charlotte (2023-24), where he connected on 14-of-20 field goals and all 21 extra-point tries across 15 games. In 2025, his first season with Nebraska, Cunanan served as the starting kicker for all 13 games, making 16-of-19 field goal attempts with a long of 52 yards while converting all 45 extra points for 93 total points. He also recorded nine touchbacks on 18 kickoffs. Cunanan is a management major and member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
