Jamir Conn is a safety from Kansas City, Missouri, who attended Lee's Summit North High School before playing two seasons at Southern Illinois. At the FCS level, he appeared in 23 games with 11 starts, recording 68 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and nine pass breakups. Conn transferred to Nebraska for the 2025 season and appeared in all 13 games, posting 10 tackles and a half tackle for loss. He ranked second nationally with two blocked punts and added one pass breakup. His defensive contributions helped Nebraska's secondary limit its first three opponents to fewer than 100 passing yards each, a program first since 1990.
