Jake Peters is a 6'3", 300-pound center from Cedar Falls, Iowa, who played high school football at Cedar Falls High School. Peters earned first-team all-state honors from the Des Moines Register as a senior after helping the Tigers to an 8-4 record and a Class 5A state playoff quarterfinal appearance. He also made a state playoff run as a junior when Cedar Falls finished 8-3. A three-star recruit ranked 1672 overall and among the top 70 interior offensive linemen by national outlets, Peters redshirted in 2024. As a redshirt freshman in 2025, he appeared in two games for Nebraska against Akron and Houston Christian. Peters is a business administration major and has earned Academic All-Big Ten and multiple citizenship team honors.
