Jacob Brandl is an offensive lineman from Omaha, Nebraska who attended Creighton Prep High School. As a senior, he earned honorable-mention all-metro honors from the Omaha World-Herald and helped the Junior Jays reach the Class A playoff semifinal while the team rushed for more than 200 yards per game and averaged more than 27 points per game. Brandl redshirted during his first year at Nebraska in 2023 and did not play in 2024. In 2025, he appeared in two games as a sophomore against Akron and Houston Christian. A criminology and criminal justice major, Brandl has been named Academic All-Big Ten in 2024 and 2025.
