Danny King is a tight end from Bloomington, Minnesota, who attended Jefferson High School. At Jefferson, he caught 34 passes for 481 yards and five touchdowns as a junior, along with nine defensive tackles. He also played baseball and received multiple Division II scholarship offers before joining Nebraska. King made his Husker debut in the 2024 season opener against UTEP during his redshirt year. He appeared in one game in 2025 against Akron. King has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and multiple citizenship team selections. He is a business administration major.
