Janiran Bonner is a 6'2", 225-pound wide receiver for Nebraska who was a consensus four-star recruit in the 2022 class, ranked 311th nationally. After redshirting in 2022, he appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, recording four carries for nine yards, one rushing touchdown, and one five-yard reception. Following a positional shift, Bonner played in all 13 games with three starts as a sophomore in 2024, posting 11 catches for 67 yards with one receiving touchdown and two carries for 11 yards including one rushing touchdown. In 2025, a season-ending injury limited him to one appearance against Cincinnati, where he caught a four-yard pass and rushed twice for four yards. Bonner is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and human development and family science major.
