Cayden Echternach is a 6'4", 260-pound tight end from Bennington, Nebraska, who attended Bellevue West High School after three seasons at Omaha Burke. In his high school career, he totaled 27 receptions and over 420 receiving yards, including 17 catches for more than 200 yards and two touchdowns as a senior. Echternach redshirted in 2023 before making his Nebraska debut in 2024, appearing in two games against UTEP and Northern Iowa. He played in 11 games in 2025 and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in both 2024 and 2025. A nutrition and health sciences major, Echternach has been recognized as a Tom Osborne Citizenship Team member.
