Braylen Prude is a 6'4", 205-pound defensive back from Pearland, Texas, who played at Shadow Creek High School. A three-star recruit ranked among the nation's top 60 safeties by recruiting services, Prude made his Nebraska debut in the final regular-season game at Iowa during the 2024 redshirt season and also appeared in the Pinstripe Bowl. He played in two games in 2024 before appearing in one game during his 2025 redshirt freshman campaign. Prude has been named to the Academic All-Big Ten and Brook Berringer Citizenship Team, and was selected for the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in both 2025 and 2026.
