Ty White is a left cornerback for NC State who transferred from North Carolina. The 5'10", 176-pound defender from Buford, Georgia enrolled early at UNC and appeared in eight games as a true freshman. As a sophomore in 2025, White saw action in four games while recording four total tackles before being redshirted. At Buford High School, he was a two-time 6A state champion and two-time first-team all-region 8-7A selection who posted 36 tackles, three tackles for loss, an interception and a pass breakup as a senior, while also catching 23 passes for 302 yards and five touchdowns.
