RJ Boyd is a freshman running back for NC State from Waycross, Georgia, where he attended Ware County High School. He was ranked the No. 71 running back nationally and No. 96 prospect in Georgia's 2025 class. Boyd missed his senior year after being diagnosed with B Cell Lymphoma and undergoing treatment.
