Matt Reyes is a senior defensive tackle for Navy wearing number 97. From Friendswood, Texas, Reyes graduated from Friendswood High School in 2022 and attended Naval Academy Prep School before joining the Midshipmen. He made his collegiate debut against Bucknell in 2024, then earned his first start in Navy's Homecoming victory over Charlotte, recording a career-high 4 tackles. He also started against #12 Notre Dame and contributed a solo tackle at Rice that season, finishing with 7 tackles across 12 games. In 2025, Reyes appeared in every game on Navy's special teams unit and was part of a defensive effort that held VMI to 15 rushing yards.
