Lance Gossett is a senior placekicker for Navy, standing 6'1" and weighing 200 pounds. A 2023 graduate of Male High School in Louisville, Kentucky, Gossett was a four-time football letter winner who earned First-Team All-District honors twice and First-Team All-State recognition as a senior, when he made 43 of 45 PATs and 8 of 12 field goals. He made his collegiate debut in 2024 against Bucknell with two 65-yard kickoffs and appeared in 12 games that season, averaging 58.5 yards on 4 kicks in Navy's Armed Forces Bowl victory over Oklahoma. In 2025, Gossett closed the year averaging 59.6 yards across 63 kickoffs, including a 61.2-yard average on 6 kicks in the Liberty Bowl win versus Cincinnati.
