Markell Chapman is a 6'1", 303-pound right defensive tackle from Sumter, South Carolina, who prepped at Lakewood High School. Chapman redshirted in 2023 before transferring to Highland Community College in Kansas, where he appeared in 9 games in 2024 as a redshirt freshman. That season he recorded 14 total stops, 8 solo tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks with a forced fumble. Chapman posted 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble in the season opener against Monroe University on 8/31/24 and logged a season-high 3 total tackles at Garden City on 11/2/24. He transferred to Missouri State as a junior for the 2026 season.
