Darryon Taylor is a senior cornerback for Missouri State who transferred to the Bears after two seasons at Mississippi Delta Community College. During his 2024 sophomore year at MDCC, he earned defensive MVP honors, recording 25 tackles with 22 solos, 2.0 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, and 4 pass breakups. In his inaugural FBS campaign in 2025, Taylor appeared in 10 contests (155 snaps) and accumulated 6 total tackles with 1 pass deflection, including a breakup in his debut at Marshall on September 6. He registered multiple tackles in three games, posting two solos against Arkansas State and SMU, and earned selection to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
