LaKendrick James is a 6'2", 250-pound weakside linebacker from Shelby, Mississippi, who committed to Mississippi State on June 16, 2024. At Copiah-Lincoln CC, he played in 21 games over two seasons, recording 45 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and four pass breakups, with 41 tackles coming in 2024. James made his collegiate debut at Southern Miss on August 30, 2025, posting four tackles in his first game.
