TJ Thomas is a running back who transferred to Minnesota in January 2026 after spending two seasons at Elon. At the FCS level, he appeared in 17 games with 16 starts, recording 180 rushing attempts for 972 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 28 receptions for 232 yards and one score. In 2025, he played nine games and carried 91 times for 384 yards and six touchdowns, also catching 15 passes for 124 yards. Thomas hails from Thomasville, Georgia, where he attended Brookwood and compiled 2,209 career rushing yards, 3,457 receiving yards, and 76 total touchdowns as a four-year varsity player.
