Darius Taylor is a senior running back for Minnesota who hails from Walled Lake, Michigan. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, Taylor played in six games as a true freshman, rushing 138 times for 799 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 133.2 yards per game. He was named Quick Lane Bowl MVP after recording 208 rushing yards against Bowling Green. In his sophomore season, he appeared in 12 games with 11 starts, accumulating 205 rushing attempts for 986 yards and 10 touchdowns alongside 54 receptions for 350 yards and two scores. During the 2025 junior campaign, Taylor carried the ball 143 times for 670 yards and four touchdowns while catching 34 passes for 245 yards across 10 games. He has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in both 2024 and 2025.
