Mark Handy is an offensive lineman for the Minnesota Golden Gophers standing 6'7" and weighing 320 pounds. A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Handy attended La Cueva High School, where he wore No. 75 and helped lead the Bears to a 12-1 record and state championship game appearance as a senior, and to a state title as a junior. He also competed in wrestling, posting a 24-0 record as a junior to win the New Mexico 5A 285-pound state championship. Handy enrolled at Minnesota in January 2025 as a consensus three-star recruit and was ranked the No. 64 interior offensive lineman nationally by recruiting services. He redshirted in 2025 without seeing game action and returns as a redshirt freshman.
