Elisha West is a 5'10", 195-pound nickelback from Germantown, Maryland, who attended Quince Orchard High School. At Quince Orchard, he recorded seven interceptions and 137 tackles during his junior and senior seasons, added three fumble recoveries and nine tackles for loss as a senior, and earned all-county and all-division First Team honors. West began his college career at Merrimack in 2024, redshirting after appearing in one game. He then competed in two games at Michigan State in 2025, seeing action against Penn State and Maryland. West enrolled at Minnesota in January 2026 as a redshirt sophomore and currently wears No. 26 for the Golden Gophers.
