Braiden Stevens is a freshman wide receiver for the Minnesota Golden Gophers who wears No. 17. The 5'8", 170-pound receiver from Platte City, Missouri, attended Platte County High School under coach Bill Utz. As a senior, Stevens recorded 64 receptions for 1,189 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns while helping lead the Pirates to a state championship. He earned all-state honors as a junior and was named a consensus three-star recruit. national outlets ranked him No. 111 at his position and No. 9 in Missouri for the 2026 class. Stevens also competed in track, earning all-state honors in the 100m and relay events as a junior, including a state record in the 4x100 relay.
