Aydan West, a right cornerback from Gaithersburg, Maryland, joined Minnesota in January 2026 after one season at Michigan State. At Quince Orchard High School, he recorded eight interceptions—the program's all-time record—and returned three for touchdowns. As a senior, he recorded two interception return touchdowns while helping his team to a 13-0 record and the Maryland 4A state title. He also caught 11 passes for 203 yards and four touchdowns. At Michigan State in 2025, West appeared in all 12 games with four starts, posting 19 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, 0.5 sacks, and one pass breakup.
