Aydan West, a right cornerback from Gaithersburg, Maryland, joined Minnesota in January 2026 after one season at Michigan State. At Quince Orchard High School, he recorded eight interceptions—the program's all-time record—and returned three for touchdowns. As a senior, he recorded two interception return touchdowns while helping his team to a 13-0 record and the Maryland 4A state title. He also caught 11 passes for 203 yards and four touchdowns.
