Locke Kennedy is a safety for Middle Tennessee, standing 6'3" and weighing 209 pounds. A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Kennedy attended Battle Ground Academy, where he earned three-star recruit ratings from recruiting services. During his high school career, he recorded 111 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and three interceptions while lettering in football, track, and wrestling. As a senior, Kennedy posted 50 stops including 7.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and a hurry, earning TSSAA All-State honors. In 2025, his freshman season, Kennedy appeared in 10 games and logged 128 snaps on special teams alongside seven defensive plays, with his first collegiate action coming at Wisconsin on special teams.
