KJ Miniefield is a nickelback for Middle Tennessee who transferred to the program as a redshirt junior. The 5'11", 175-pound defender from Chandler, Arizona originally enrolled at Air Force in August 2022 before entering the transfer portal in January 2023 and joining Northern Arizona, where he redshirted in 2023 and took a redshirt year in 2024 after playing in the season opener against Lincoln. At Desert Ridge High School, Miniefield lettered in football, basketball, and track, earning All-6A Fiesta Region First Team honors at defensive back and as a punt returner while serving as team captain and winning MVP recognition on defense and special teams.
