Kalen Woods is a free safety for Middle Tennessee who transferred in from San Mateo College. The Oakland, California native played in 10 games with nine starts during the 2025 season, accumulating 36 tackles, one interception (returned 17 yards), and 0.5 tackles for loss. At San Mateo, Woods appeared in all 13 games in 2024, posting 39 tackles and four interceptions while earning all-state honors as the program won a state championship. Originally a recruit from Fremont High School, Woods began his college career at New Mexico in 2022.
