Sam Baron is a cornerback for the Michigan Wolverines listed at 6'1" and 188 pounds. The Cadillac, Michigan native attended Lake City Area High School, where he served as a two-year team captain in football and baseball under coach Kevin Kent. Baron played both wide receiver and defensive back in high school and earned a three-year letter in baseball while being named Lake City Valedictorian and an Academic All-State honoree. His high school football team reached the state playoffs in 2022. Baron joined Michigan as a walk-on in spring 2026 and has competed with the university's club track and field program in short sprints. He enters the 2026 season as a senior.
