McHale Blade is a defensive end for Michigan standing 6'4" and weighing 245 pounds. The true freshman from Country Club Hills, Illinois, attended Simeon Career Academy for his final two seasons after spending his first two years at Country Club Hills Hillstrest High School. As a senior in 2025, Blade recorded 12 tackles, including 2.0 for loss, with two forced fumbles. In seven games as a sophomore in 2023, he posted 22 tackles, including 5.0 for loss and 1.5 sacks. Blade received four-star recognition from multiple recruiting services and was ranked 384 overall nationally.
