Lugard Edokpayi is a 6'7", 250-pound edge rusher from Bowie, Maryland, who attended Bishop McNamara High School. A four-star recruit in the 2024 class, he redshirted his freshman year at Michigan in 2024 before appearing in eight games as a sophomore in 2025, primarily at edge and on special teams. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and his first varsity letter after contributing across eight contests including matchups against New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Washington, Central Michigan, Purdue, Maryland, and Texas. Edokpayi remains on the roster for the 2026 season.
