Zach Washington is a 6'2" wide receiver for Michigan State, wearing No. 16. From Naperville, Illinois, Washington attended St. Francis, where he earned honorable mention all-state honors from the IHSFCA. As a sophomore in 2023, he recorded 44 receptions for 777 yards and 11 touchdowns while also playing defensive back with five interceptions for 86 return yards. In his senior season, Washington caught 45 passes for 890 yards and six touchdowns. He contributed three receptions for 67 yards in St. Francis's state title game victory over Providence Catholic. recruiting services both ranked him among the top receivers in Illinois for the Class of 2026. Washington enrolled at Michigan State in January 2026 as a true freshman.
