Eddie Whiting is a tight end from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who attended Thomas Jefferson High School. A three-star recruit rated No. 2 in South Dakota by recruiting services and No. 3 by national outlets, Whiting was ranked among the nation's top tight ends at No. 23 by national outlets and No. 58 by recruiting services. He earned back-to-back all-state honors and recorded 27 catches for 310 yards and five touchdowns during his senior season while also competing in basketball. Whiting enrolled at Michigan State in January 2026 for the spring semester and currently holds jersey No. 84 as a true freshman.
