Eddie Whiting is a tight end from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who attended Thomas Jefferson High School. A three-star recruit rated No. 2 in South Dakota by recruiting services and No. 3 by national outlets, Whiting was ranked among the nation's top tight ends at No. 23 by national outlets and No. 58 by recruiting services. He earned back-to-back all-state honors and recorded 27 catches for 310 yards and five touchdowns during his senior season while also competing in basketball.
