Kamal Bonner is a 6'2", 215-pound linebacker from Moultrie, Georgia, who attended Colquitt County High School. He compiled 169 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries during his prep career, including 125 tackles as a senior. Bonner spent his first two seasons at NC State, appearing in four games as a true freshman in 2023 while redshirting, then playing in all 13 games in 2024. He emerged as a starting linebacker in the final seven games of 2024, finishing with 56 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss and one sack. Now at Miami, Bonner saw action in nine games during his first season with the Hurricanes in 2025, primarily on special teams, recording two total tackles before missing time due to injury.
