Ethan O'Connor is a 6'1", 180-pound cornerback from Irvine, California, who played high school football at Los Alamitos before joining Washington State. He redshirted in 2023, then started all 12 games in 2024 for the Cougars, recording 32 tackles, one tackle for loss, four interceptions, and eight pass breakups. O'Connor transferred to Miami as a three-star prospect and became a key rotation member in 2025, appearing in all 16 games with six starts during the regular season. He posted 28 tackles, 5 pass deflections, and 3.5 tackles for loss, then started all four College Football Playoff contests, including the national championship game against Indiana on January 19.
