Tommy Thies is a defensive back from River Forest, Illinois who attended Fenwick High School under coach Matthew Battaglia. A two-time team captain, Thies led Fenwick to a state title appearance as a senior and earned all-state honors that year. He was named Defensive Player of the Year in his conference and received a Military Bowl invite in 2025. A three-star recruit rated 0.85 with a national ranking of 1924 in the 2026 class, Thies stands 5'11" and weighs 185 pounds. He currently wears No. 36 for Miami (OH) as a true freshman.
