Matt Ogunniyi is a 6'5", 236-pound tight end from Springdale, Maryland who played at Charles Herbert Flowers High School. At Flowers, he caught 16 passes for 509 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior in 2022, averaging 31.8 yards per reception. He appeared in one game during his freshman year at Rutgers, making his collegiate debut in a win at Maryland on November 16. Ogunniyi transferred to Massachusetts and played in five games in 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, recording one reception for three yards against Bowling Green on November 25.
