Sean Perret joined LSU as a walk-on kicker in 2025 after a decorated prep career at Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, where he was among Louisiana's top kickers for the Class of 2025. At Catholic, he handled kickoffs, placekicks, and punting, recording 139 total kickoffs with 80 percent reaching the end zone and converting 37-of-40 PATs. In 2023, he punted 24 times for a 36.8 average and made a 45-yard field goal in the playoffs while earning first-team All-District honors. Perret redshirted during his true freshman season at LSU in 2025 and saw no game action. The son of former LSU football player Kris Perret, he is majoring in kinesiology with an emphasis in human movement science.
