Gavin Higgins is a true freshman placekicker for the LSU Tigers who joined the program in January 2026 from Parkview Baptist School in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During his high school career, Higgins earned first-team All-District honors as both a punter and kicker and was named to the Baton Rouge Advocate All-Metro Team in 2025. In 2024, he made 36 of 37 PATs and 7 of 11 field goals with a long of 43 yards, and 47 of his 51 kickoffs resulted in touchbacks. Higgins is majoring in construction management.
