Joey August is a defensive tackle for the LSU Tigers standing 6'0" and weighing 282 pounds. A native of New Orleans, August joined LSU as a walk-on in 2023 and redshirted his true freshman year without seeing game action. He remained off the field during his redshirt freshman season in 2024. In 2025, August made his first career appearance in a win over Southeastern Louisiana.
