DJ Pickett, a 6'4" cornerback from Zephyrhills, Florida, was the nation's top-rated cornerback prospect in the Class of 2025 and a consensus 5-star recruit. In his true freshman season at LSU, Pickett appeared in 13 games with 3 starts and logged 524 defensive snaps. He recorded 37 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks while leading the team with 3 interceptions and adding 6 passes defended. Pickett earned Freshman All-America honors from the FWAA and Freshman All-SEC recognition. He also made the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
